Travel Essentials

TRAVEL

It’s family vacation time! All the packing, rummaging through luggage bags, and check listing has inspired me to write this post. I’m going to be traveling abroad for a few weeks to spend some quality time with my family. Hence, I won’t be able to post as regularly as I do now. Don’t worry! I won’t be completely invisible. I’ll try my best to keep some time saved for blogging. 🙂

Anyhow, let’s get started with the Travel Essentials:

accesories

  1. Glasses/Contact Lenses
  2. Watch
  3. Sunglasses

Beauty

  1. Comb/Hair Brush
  2. Toothbrush
  3. Toothpaste
  4. Body Lotion
  5. Face Cleanser
  6. Deodorant
  7. Shampoo
  8. Conditioner
  9. Makeup Bag
  10. Sunscreen
  11. Cleansing Wipes
  12. Shaving Cream
  13. Razor
(If you get the above items in travel-sized packs, it’ll help you occupy less bag space, which means less weight!)
    clothing
  1. Jeans- 2 pairs
  2. Shirts- 3 casual and 3 formal (This depends on the climate and occasion.)
  3. Dress-It’s always a good idea to pack one dress, in case there’s a formal event all of a sudden.
  4. Undergarments
  5. Nightwear/PJ’s- 3 sets
    electronics
  1. Mobile+Charger
  2. Laptop+Charger
  3. Camera+Charger
  4. Headphones

footwear

  1. Sneakers- Always pack a pair of shoes as this will keep you comfortable when you’re traveling longer distances.
  2. Socks- 3 pairs
  3. Sandals

extras

  1. Wallet
  2. Passport
  3. Tickets
  4. Map
  5. Pen
  6. Travel Journal- I like to carry my travel journal with me every time I visit a new country because it helps me capture the best moments of the trip.
  7. Backpack- This is much better than carrying a purse around with you everywhere you go because it holds more things and is more comfortable to carry around.
  8. Snacks

I hope you enjoyed my Travel Essentials!

This is a really great post idea, also add a Kindle and this could be my packing list for holidays as well 🙂 I need to actually start a new travel journal, I have a few blank ones in my wardrobe waiting to be started, just need to decide which one to use first.
Also I hope you have a great time travelling as well! 😀

Where are you going? I’m itching to plan my second trip of the year already! So you actually take a paper map of the place you’re going? That’s pretty old school ;).
