Best Friend: My first best friend’s name was, let’s say Alexis(Imaginary name). Our mothers were good friends and that’s how we met each other at a very young age. We’ve practically known each other since we were born. During those times, we shared a lot of common interests. Even though we’re not really the same people now, we’re still in contact and I consider her to be one of my good friends. 🙂

Award: I won a trophy for coming first in a Dance Contest!

Sport: Basketball. I loved playing basketball when I was a child, I still do!

Film: Big Hero 6! It is by far the best movie that I’ve watched. Even though it’s an animated film, it’ll make you cry. 😦

Travel Diaries-Arabian Travel Market, Dubai

Recently, I attended the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai. The exhibition mainly dealt with the travel sector such as cities, hotels, and resorts around the world. 😀

There were more than 100 stalls, which were indeed lavishly adorned. There were so many countries that I’d never even heard of before. Moreover, new projects coming up in the city were displayed in the form of miniature models.

I got a chance to click a few pictures. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take out too many because my hands were filled with bags, brochures, and food. Haha. 😉

The lady above was wearing a dress made of magazine paper. How creative!
The lady in the traditional pink kimono was patiently writing my name in Korean while I stared at her in awe. She was using some kind of charcoal black paint to paint the letters on a thin white sheet.
And, the red wall was made of fresh red roses, crazy right?

In the end, I saw these lovely characters greeting all the visitors.

Overall, it was a great experience and I got to know a lot more about traveling.
I believe that the exposure to new ideas and places never ends!

life.love.beauty-Keegan Allen

Ever heard of Pretty Little Liars? Toby Cavanaugh?

Well, then the name Keegan Allen should ring a bell. Keegan has always had a passion for photography. Hence, he drew his inspiration in a book called ‘life.love.beauty’.

The book gives an overview of the actor’s life growing up in California and diving into the world as an adult.
Let me start off by telling you all that the photos are magnificent!

The book is filled with photos of nature, life, Hollywood, the Pretty Little Liars cast, travelling, and much more.
Moreover, every photo is complemented with a caption. Some captions are short and sweet while others are long and descriptive. The book is well-balanced as a whole.

What I love most about this book is that it hasn’t been written in a span of one year or within a time limit, rather it is a stunning photographic journal that has been compiled over the past years.

Overall, a great book and totally worth a read!
Have you read any book like this one before? Let me know in the comments section below. 😀

Travel Diaries-Madinat Souq, Dubai

View from the top balcony!

Madinat Jumeirah Souq is the place to be! From its very traditional look to its classy restaurants, this place will not disappoint you.

If you are a fan of antiques, arts, and heritage, then you will surely love this place.

There are many stalls and shops present in the souq. What caught my eye were the small stalls that were selling many artifacts from handmade crafts to jewelry to paintings and much more.

Adorable ceramic printed elephants

Dreamcatchers!

There are many fancy restaurants and cafes too. Also, they offer a wide range of cuisine. Italian, Indian, Chinese, American to name a few.

To top off all the other beauties of this place, you get a good view of the Burj Al Arab, an iconic tower of Dubai.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures. 🙂

Wanderlust

“A strong desire to travel.”

Before I die, I want to travel the entire world!

It may seem silly but it’s the truth. I love travelling to new countries, cities and continents. My sole desire in life is to explore undiscovered gems.

I love meeting new people from different backgrounds, cultures and belief systems. It gives me a sense of happiness and peace which no materialistic object can ever achieve.

Places I have traveled so far:

  • Singapore
  • Malaysia
  • Bangkok
  • Kuala Lumpur
  • Mumbai
  • Goa
  • Paris
  • Vienna
  • Switzerland
  • Dubai
  • Germany
  • Austria ….to name a few

I know I haven’t even covered the tiniest bit of the entire world yet….but hopefully in the coming days, I will. After all, not all those who wander are lost. 😉

What are your favorite travel destinations? Share them in the comments section below!
