The other day I was just thinking of how my emotions toward a song change over time. So here I am, sharing my thoughts with you using gifs. 😉

  1. First impression: “Meh, it’s not that good.”

The Shuffle Book Tag

Hi, everyone! 🙂

I’ve been nominated for the Shuffle Book Tag. This creative tag was created by the lovely Chloe(Quirky Victorian)! I apologize for posting the tag so late.

  3. For each song that comes on, list the song and the artist, and name a book that it makes you think of, explaining why. (You can do as many or as few as you want, I’m not going to set a number. This is a low-pressure tag. Whoever we are, we’s pretty laid back.)

Let’s get started!

  1. Cheap Thrills by Sia-
    This song reminds me of Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. This is quite an old book, but I still remember it perfectly well.
  2. A Thousand Years by Christina Perri-
    I don’t even know why but this song reminds me of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. 
  3. I’ll Be There For You by The Rembrandts-
    The first book that clicks my mind when I listen to this song is Friends Forever by Danielle Steel. It’s got that whole F.R.I.E.N.D.S theme going on.
  4. Secret by The Pierces-
    I know the tune of this song is really creepy, but it reminds me of I Was Here by Gayle Forman because of all the hidden secrets between Meg and Cody.
  5. Skyfall by Adele-
    This song gives me ultimate James Bond vibes. I guess I’d have to say The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Imagine all the characters doing their kickass moves while this song plays in the background!
  6. Somewhere Only We Know by Keane-
    This is honestly one of my favorite love songs. My number one pick for this song would be Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell.
  7. What You Know by Two Door Cinema Club-
    Again, no particular reason why I’ve chosen The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, but it just randomly came into my head whilst I was listening to this song.
  8. The Things We Lost in The Fire by Bastille-
    This song reminds me of The Maze Runner by James Dashner because of all the adventure that takes place in the story.
  9. Faded by Alan Walker-
    For some reason, I thought of Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella when I was listening to this song. By the way, if you haven’t read the book, go read it!
  10. Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay-
    No, I didn’t just select The Fault in Our Stars by John Green because the word ‘stars’ is in the song. However, I did choose that particular book because the song reminds me of Hazel Grace.

Travel Diaries-Arabian Travel Market, Dubai

Recently, I attended the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai. The exhibition mainly dealt with the travel sector such as cities, hotels, and resorts around the world. 😀

There were more than 100 stalls, which were indeed lavishly adorned. There were so many countries that I’d never even heard of before. Moreover, new projects coming up in the city were displayed in the form of miniature models.

I got a chance to click a few pictures. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take out too many because my hands were filled with bags, brochures, and food. Haha. 😉

The lady above was wearing a dress made of magazine paper. How creative! 
The lady in the traditional pink kimono was patiently writing my name in Korean while I stared at her in awe. She was using some kind of charcoal black paint to paint the letters on a thin white sheet. 
And, the red wall was made of fresh red roses, crazy right?

Cookie Truck, they tasted delightful!

In the end, I saw these lovely characters greeting all the visitors.

Overall, it was a great experience and I got to know a lot more about traveling.
I believe that the exposure to new ideas and places never ends! ❤

Music For When You’re Dreamy

Aren’t we all daydreamers?

I love music and cannot survive a day without it. My taste in music depends on my mood to a great extent.
I don’t know about you, but I daydream way too often, and I have a playlist that I listen to when I feel this way. The playlist consists of around 50 songs, so I thought I’d share some of my favorites with you all. 😀
