June’16 Favourites

june favourites

I’ve got to say that June has gone by pretty quickly. Here are some of my favourite things that I bought, read, made, watched, ate and so on during the month of June.

  1. Chocolate Brownie Frappe at The Coffee Club:

This is literally one of the best Frappes I have ever had. It’s not too icy nor too sweet, it has the perfect texture and just the right amount of chocolate brownies which are to die for! ❤
  2. Finding Dory:

I’ve probably rambled too much about this movie, so I’m going to zip my mouth now, haha. Although, if you want to check out the complete review of this movie, you can click here.
  3. My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows:

I finished reading this book just last week, and I loved it. The story is so uniquely depicted from the P.O.V’s of three different co-authors. Now, you may think this will make the book even more confusing, but it doesn’t! I’ll try to post a review on this book soon.
  4. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream:

This is one of NYX’s best lipsticks. They have 34 shades of lip creams, which are both long-lasting and moisturising. My personal favourite shade is Hot Pink.
  5. Intimately Beckham Perfume:
I love this perfume scent. It’s so fresh and gentle. Also, the bottle looks super sophisticated.
  6. Elephant Print Kimono:
I bought this Kimono from Forever 21, and it looks gorgeous with almost any piece of clothing. It’s a must have for when you’re not sure of what to wear.
  7. Chocolate Biscuit Cake Recipe:

I discovered this delicious recipe earlier this month. It’s one of the yummiest and simplest recipes. You can find the recipe here.
  8. DIY Fairy Lights Wall Decor:

This is a great idea to light up your room. You can either tape the fairy lights on the borders of your wall or mould it into your favourite word. I made the word ‘Dream’ using fairy lights and it makes my bedroom wall look so much better.

I hope you enjoyed my June favourites!

That chocolate brownie frappe looks like heaven! I think I’m going to try out that NYX matte lip cream – it looks great and they have a ton of different colors. I have My Lady Jane, I just need to actually read it. I’ve heard a lot great things about it. 🙂

Would you believe I have still not been to The Coffee Club though that Brownie Frappe has been on my list for months now (I clearly need better objectives in my life!)

Oh my god that frappe looks amazing! I need to find out if there’s a Coffee Club anywhere near where I am because I need to buy one of those like immediately.
I got a copy of My Lady Jane this month and I can’t wait to get started on it, I’ve seen pretty much nothing but great reviews and it sounds like an amazing read.
I really loved reading this post, I think it’s a great idea for a end of month recap kind of post 😀

I’d go for the frappe too, and the perfume. That pink bottle is so lovely. I like the lipstick too but I think it’ll be too flashy for my lips 😉

I always love posts like these and wish I could do these myself, but while my memory is good for studying and remembering fandom trivia, I can never remember things like these 😂 I haven’t seen Finding Dory yet, because I’m terrified of sharks and needed to make sure that the shark wasn’t in it (I’ve never seen Finding Nemo because of this) I recently learned that he isn’t in it though (unless my cousin REALLY wants me to see it and lied but I doubt it lol) so I can see it 😀

I’m glad to hear that! Haha, this was my first attempt at writing a monthly favourites post. It was quite fun! 🙂
Oh, no! I don’t remember seeing any terrifying shark in Finding Dory, there’s just a friendly one. (No sharp teeth or any such thing.) I don’t remember much about Finding Nemo since I watched that movie when I was a child, haha. 😀

I just googled it. Bailey(The character’s name) is a beluga whale, not a shark. The coast is clear, haha. 🙂
