Life Lessons From Animated Movies

Last Friday, my friend and I pulled an all-nighter watching our favorite Animated Movies of all time and it was lots of fun. I’ll admit that choosing the best films was difficult, but watching them brought back old memories! 😀
The main reason I enjoy watching Animated movies is not only because they’re way funnier but also, they teach you valuable life lessons.

Anyhow, here are some of my all-time favorites:

  1. The Lion King (1994):

I always get emotional when I watch this movie. All the characters have something special about them which intrigues me.
Life Lesson: Don’t dwell on the past. All you can do is learn from it.
  2. Toy Story (1995):

As a child, I craved for toys that moved and watching this movie made it seem very realistic. Those were the days when toys were more important than iPads. *sigh*
Life Lesson: Life moves fast, so enjoy every minute of it.
  3. Finding Nemo (2005):

My favorite character from this movie is Dory. So, of course, I’m very excited about the release of Finding Dory! Also, I used to find Darla to be very creepy. 😐
Life Lesson: Friendship can come from the most unexpected places.
  4. Kung Fu Panda (2008):

This is one of the most inspirational movies of all time. Also, Po’s obsession with dumplings will never not be funny, haha.
Life Lesson: One must be determined in order to achieve their dreams.
  5. Big Hero 6 (2014):

I have never cried so much over a movie in my entire life. I wish I had a Baymax in my life…
Life Lesson: The importance of family and sacrifice.
  6. Inside Out (2015):

This movie interestingly portrays the flood of emotions going through a teenager’s brain which, in turn, confuses them.
Life Lesson: Our memories connect us to who we are.

I hope you liked my list of Animated Films and the lessons I’ve learned from them!
What’s your favorite animated movie and what has it taught you? Let me know in the comments section below. 🙂

We liked it. The second one was good, but I’ve heard kids weren’t into it as much. If you watch them, let me know what you think.

You’ve got me wanting to go home and watch some Kung Foo Panda 🙂

Now when I saw your post, I remembered I had a dream about The Lion King tonight, AND about The Jungle Book. They were 2in1, and real. How insane is that!

I LOVE WATCHING ANIMATED MOVIES! Especially Pixar movies, I love Inside Out so much and I cried so hard because of Bing Bong. For me it teaches us that it’s normal to not be happy all the time and it’s totally okay to be sad sometimes.

Yes, they’re the best ones. Very true, sometimes you just can’t help but feel sad.

Yeah, people keep telling me it’s brilliant, but I haven’t had the chance to watch it yet 😦 I should do a “To be watched” list for all the films I want to see this year! Haha!

You’ve mentioned one of my favorites – Lion king 1 n 2. I don’t know if you’ve watched “meet the Robinsons” but it’s an amazing animation which talks about family and got emotional too 😄
