The Fear of Rejection.

Rejection. The feeling of being unwanted or dejected.

There are times when one feels like they have the confidence to approach someone and start up a conversation with them. And, there are times when one feels fearful of the consequences i.e. rejection. “What if they don’t like me?”, “Why don’t they start the conversation first?”, “Am I going to look like an idiot?” We’ve all been there.
Sometimes, we feel that the world is going to shatter if we face a simple ‘No’. However, we must never be afraid of the outcome because it might just end up with a simple yet delightful ‘Yes’ and, wouldn’t that be delightful?

Whether you’re an introvert/extrovert/ambivert, don’t be afraid to grab on to what you love else, it shall be lost. Always try your hand at new things and if they don’t work out,
at least, you tried! This, in turn, will never make you regret the chances you didn’t take.

I know from my personal experiences, that, talking to a stranger or taking new risks hasn’t been easy. But, now, I have realised that fear stops you from moving further in life and risks, in turn, give you a sense of satisfaction.

I hope this piece of advice finds a way in your life and helps you out in some way and
feel free to share your experiences below in the comments section. 🙂
